“I plan to continue to bring Constitutional Carry until the people of Louisiana get those rights and next year it’s going to be on the docket and every year I’m there until it gets passed, that’s my plan,” said McCormick.

McCormick was recently  highlighted as a champion for conservatism after receiving the highest score on CNLA's Louisiana scorecard.

H.C.R. 5, authored by Rep. Danny McCormick passed and  “suspends the enforcement of criminal penalties relative to religious assembly as they relate to emergency proclamations and violations of emergency proclamations.”

There was a victory  for residents of Caddo Parish who live just outside the city of Shreveport. The state Senate unanimously passed a bill giving those residents a break from having to live under city zoning codes.

“While it may seem drastic at first to defy the Roe v. Wade decision, history has already set precedence for this”, said McCormick. “Here in Louisiana, we have already defied federal law by legalizing medical marijuana. If we can defy the federal government over marijuana, we can do it to save the lives of innocent babies. My legislation will provide our state the chance to serve as a catalyst for the rest of America when it comes to ending abortion once and for all.”

“I will not comply and encourage others to exercise their freedom of choice, as well. We are anxious to see the outcome of our legal petition to re-open the state as it’s heard in the Louisiana State Supreme Court. In the meantime, we are coming up with solutions to defend small businesses from these tyrannical edicts. At the end of the day; it’s the responsibility of the American People to defend our Constitutional and God-given rights, and we will explore all options to do so going forward.

What (HB 103) does is an employer who does not mandate the vaccine for his employees cannot be sued because he doesn't do that. It also (forbids) the government to take away his permit for not mandating the COVID 19 vaccine."
